Our scenery
Wunaamin Conservation Park contains isolated patches of remnant rainforest, with ridges rising up to 300 meters above the surrounding plains.
Aquatic plants fill pools in creeks and rivers, providing cool relief from the starkness of the harsh escarpment. Head out on the remote tracks and you’ll discover the region is sprinkled with waterholes, idyllic fishing holes and secluded gorges.
Just a short drive from the Mt Hart Homestead you will discover Bell Gorge, an idyllic spot for swimming with stunning cliffs surrounding a series of tiered waterholes.

What our customers say
Best stay ever!!
The location of this homestad is pretty special. Nice place to stay for a few days! Some beautifull places and creeks to visit, great swimming spots.
But the best thing of this place is the service. It was perfect!!! Never met such nice people at a hotel!! Verry kind and nice people. Dinner is great as well!!
We loved it.
Amazing drive to the homestead. Friendly people, all about the service not the dollar. Safari tents great with your own shower and toilet. Sensational food. Great base to go and explore the surrounding Kimberleys.
5*+ wilderness experience
This is one of those stays that you’ll likely never forget. It’s a long old drive off the main track to get there which only adds to the adventure. The homestead is open, spacious and welcoming. There’s plenty to explore locally on the grounds and beyond. You might catch a dingo bouncing along the airstrip like we did. Yep, it’s expensive. But spare a thought for how much effort went into restoring this old station. Spare a thought for Taffy Abbotts and his dream.
Relaxing, friendly outback stay
We stayed here for three days, what a great experience, owls and bowerbirds in the gardens, comfortable accomodation, good service, friendly staff. Really enjoy
