Nestled in the heart of Western Australia’s North West in the Wunaamin Conservation Park is Mount Hart. Originally a cattle station, Mount Hart is rich in its history, rustic in its accommodation and a well known site to many locals and visitors.

Previously, Mount Hart was used as a simple stop for tired travellers along the Gibb River Road. Now, with its close proximity to many of the region's major attractions, Mount Hart has transformed into one of the Kimberley’s newest bases for discovering world-renown landmarks as well as some of the region’s best kept secret spots which you won’t currently find on any map or online listing.

Annie Creek Gorge is a great little wilderness walk along a peaceful creek and an exceptional place for an afternoon dip.

Matthew Gorge features a delightful meandering creek, framed by the black rocks and cliffs of the gorge, as well as dozens of shady small pools, rapids and waterfalls.

For sunset, walk or 4WD to Sunset Hill, just across from the homestead. Pack yourself a picnic and take time to enjoy the sights and sounds of dusk in the Kimberley.
