Join our team at Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge in 2025! We’re seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in the heart of the Kimberley. Our season runs from late April to late September.
We are currently seeking applications for the following roles:

We are looking for experienced Helicopter Pilots with a minimum of 1,000 hours. You’ll be responsible for flying guests on scenic helicopter tours and ensuring their safety and comfort. A strong knowledge of the Kimberley region is a plus.

As Head Chef, you’ll lead the kitchen team and create memorable meals for our guests. We are seeking a creative and experienced chef with a passion for quality food and the ability to work in a remote setting.

Ensure the property and airstrip is maintained to a pristine condition, including greenkeeping, general groundskeeping, and repairs and maintenance. Previous experience in gardening, reticulation, and general upkeep is essential.

Lead guests on exciting land safari tours and helicopter adventures through the stunning Kimberley region. We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides who can share their love of the land and its history with our guests. Must be licenced to drive a manual vehicle.

We need versatile and hardworking team members who can pitch in across various departments, including housekeeping, bar/waitressing, kitchenhand duties, and more. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy variety in their work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As part of our housekeeping team, you’ll ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are key to this role.

Provide excellent service to guests in our bar and dining areas. You’ll be responsible for serving drinks, meals, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous hospitality experience is a must.

Assist with food prep, cleaning dishes, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. A willingness to learn and help wherever needed is essential.

We’re looking for a Campground Host to maintain a welcoming atmosphere at our campground. Volunteers are welcome through the season and will have the opportunity to assist with guest check-ins, site maintenance, and creating a positive guest experience.

Ensure the lodge remains well-kept and secure during the off-season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a more independent role and has experience in property management or caretaking.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR EMPLOYMENT
Positive attitude with a willingness to work as an all-rounder.
Full-season availability (late April to late September).
Own accommodation preferred (tent or caravan). Rent applies if accommodation is provided by Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge.
Own car (4WD recommended). Diesel fuel can be purchased at Mount Hart.
Meals are provided by Mount Hart (breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided for a $20 per day charge).
Staff work a 5 weeks on, 1 week off rotation (alternating between 5-day and 6-day work weeks).
Travel costs not included. Staff must arrange their own travel to Mount Hart.
DESIRED
People with additional talents – musicians, entertainers, trade backgrounds.
Experience in tourism or hospitality preferred.
Couples and siblings who are happy to share rooms as staff accommodation is limited!
