A NIGHT TO REMEMBER AT THE 2024 PERTH AIRPORT WA TOURISM AWARDS
Last weekend, Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge had the incredible honour of attending the 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards. It was a night filled with celebration as Western Australia’s vibrant tourism industry came together to recognise outstanding achievements.
We are thrilled to share that Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge was recognised in 2 out of 27 award categories, receiving a bronze award for Unique Accommodation and a silver award for Tourist Attraction.
UNIQUE ACCOMMODATION
The Unique Accommodation category celebrates tourism excellence in accommodation that provides a unique overnight experience with an included activity, highlighting the uniqueness of the tourism experience. To be recognised in this category is a testament to the unforgettable experiences we offer guests at Mount Hart.
In this category, Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm was awarded gold for the second consecutive year, with the well-deserved silver going to Bullara Station Stay.
TOURIST ATTRACTION
The Tourist Attraction category acknowledges natural or built attractions that people visit for pleasure and interest, with a focus on attracting significant visitor numbers. Achieving silver in this category showcases Mount Hart as a must-visit destination on the iconic Gibb River Road, reaffirming our dedication to delivering the Ultimate Gibb River Road Adventure.
In this category, Albany’s Historic Whaling Station proudly took home gold, while bronze was well-deserved by The Bell Tower.
These awards mean so much to us and reflect the hard work and passion our team pours into creating unforgettable adventures for our guests.
The evening was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate alongside some of Western Australia’s most talented and innovative operators. A huge congratulations to the other award winners who continue to showcase the best of what Western Australia has to offer.
The event, hosted by Tourism Council WA and Perth Airport, was a true celebration of the dedication and passion within our industry. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a dynamic community that continuously raises the bar for tourism in Western Australia.
